Festival Highlights

  • Opening Night – Summer Night: This Night Is Mine
    On 20 June, Congress Square will host a captivating performance by Slovenian music legend Janez Bončina Benč, marking the festival's grand commencement. 

  • Musicals: Mamma Mia! and The Phantom of the Opera
    Experience the magic of Mamma Mia! on 14 June at Križanke, celebrating a decade of performances. From 9 to 20 July, The Phantom of the Opera will enchant audiences at Cankarjev dom. 

  • Classical and Jazz Performances
    Enjoy a diverse lineup, including:

    • La Fura dels Baus presenting Haydn’s The Creation on 30 June at Cankarjev dom.

    • The Duke Ellington Orchestra performing on 3 July at Križanke.

    • Puccini Gala featuring Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov on 26 August at Cankarjev dom. 

  • Contemporary Works
    Don’t miss Breath of the Beast by Fausto Romitelli on 5 July at Križanke, blending experimental composition with techno beats.
